This piece is stunning. The colors, the tones, the vast amount of beauty. When I see this it makes me think of a lot, but one thing it reminds me of is my pride in my puerto rican heritage. The vast skin tones in just one culture are beautiful. This piece is important to me and to the overall theme and style of work I picked because although minimalistic and only with the use of brown tones, this piece shows the beauty of all skin types, and hair types, and the unity of women. I love how this differs from the previous pieces are some are just things like donuts, some can be political, but this one is just beauty.
